Where can I purchase replacement laces for my
shoes?
At this time, the etnies Online Store does not sell laces. You can
purchase replacement laces at your local etnies dealer, or other
local stores that carrty shoe care products.
Are your shoes leather or synthetic leather?
The material differs by model. Each of the model descriptions clearly identify
the type of leather used, as there are several categories of different leather
options offered.
How should I take care of my shoes
so they last the longest?
etnies makes skate shoes that are meant to take a beating and keep on skating.
However, there are things you can do to ensure that they last longer. Try to
keep your shoes dry. Your shoes are made up of many different materials and
bonding agents, most of which are not intended to be submerged in water, which
may compromise their integrity.
We do not recommend that you wash your shoes in the washing machine, which may
cause your shoes to lose their original shape. Drying your shoes in the dryer
is also not recommended, as it will lessen the effect of the bonding agents
that hold your shoes together, causing components to separate from each other
(upper separation from outsole).
Depending on the upper material, you may choose to treat your shoes with a
waterproofing product, leather conditioner, stain guard or general leather
protector. Use products that are designed for your specific upper material and
follow the manufacturer's instructions for use.

Upper Materials:
Suede & Nubuck
Use a soft bristle brush to gently brush suede or nubuck. A soft soap product
on a clean cloth can remove spots. Dry away from direct heat. Do not soak or
immerse in water. Treat with leather care product for additional protection, if
desired. Suede looks best when brushed. Although special suede brushes are
available, a clean toothbrush works just as well.
Leather (Smooth Action)
Use a soft soap product and a soft bristle brush to scrub off surface dirt.
Leather can be gently washed down with water and a clean cloth, but do not soak
or immerse in water. Dry away from direct heat. Leather can also be polished
and conditioned with a leather lotion applied with a soft cloth.
Canvas & Nylon Mesh
Use a soft soap product and a soft bristle brush to scrub off surface dirt.
Canvas and nylon mesh can be gently washed down with water and a clean cloth,
but do not soak or immerse in water. Dry away from direct heat. (Note: it is
difficult to restore white mesh to a "brand new" appearance.)
Synthetic Leather
Use a soft soap product and a soft bristle brush to scrub off surface dirt.
Synthetic leather can be gently washed down with water and a clean cloth, but
do not soak or immerse in water. Dry away from direct heat.
Outsoles:
Rubber sidewalls
Use a soft soap product and a soft bristle brush to scrub off surface dirt.
Rubber sidewalls can be gently washed down with water and a clean cloth, but do
not soak or immerse in water. Dry away from direct heat.
Insoles:
Footbeds
Insoles can be removed from the shoe and washed by hand in the sink with a soft
soap product. Dry away from direct heat. Do not put your insoles in the dryer,
which may cause them to shrink or to lose their original shape.
What do I do if my shoes get wet?
In the event that your shoes get wet, let them dry naturally instead of using a
dryer. A dryer will lessen the effect of the bonding agents that hold your
shoes together, causing components to separate from each other (upper
separation from outsole).
Depending on the upper material, you may choose to treat your shoes with a
waterproofing product, leather conditioner, stain guard or general leather
